The largest of the three, and the last to return.
Jak 3 is the largest of the trilogy, about 836,000 lines of GOAL. OpenGOAL released it as a beta on April 1st, 2026, the third game it had brought back from the disc. Phaethon took it over that July with 1,014 of its 1,040 files holding code, every gap again inherited.
Most of the fork's work on it is small things the disc does and the port did not. The dust storm's density and the menu's backdrop now match the console, the title screen's clouds and sun come up the same on every boot, the sky's clouds read the game's own state, the PC music player holds the game's tracks where its list had been empty, and objects fade in at the disc's distances instead of popping in. Beside retail, as a remastered option that is off under the retail settings, the desert storm became a volume of dust that dims the sun.

Runtime
A kernel, a sound and file driver and a renderer stand in for the console's hardware.
