Launcher¶
- Sessions you play while signed in are reported to your Phaethon account, and to no other.
- Your profile shows play time from Phaethon, or from this PC when Phaethon cannot be reached.
- Your profile lists each game with its play time, last play and whether its saves are backed up.
- Phaethon's addresses moved to playphaethon.com.

Install¶
- The license in setup fills its box and adds terms for game data, updates, presence and warranty.
- Setup's Back, Next and Cancel buttons are evenly spaced.
- The Launch Phaethon checkbox at the end of setup no longer touches its text.
- The uninstaller looks like the setup wizard.
- Setup shows the Phaethon icon in dark mode.
Launcher¶
- Sign in to Phaethon from the launcher.
- Your profile page shows your name, your email and your play time.
- A runtime download that the store updates underneath starts over instead of leaving a mixed install.
- The splash, About and crash reports show the full version, such as v0.2.0-rc4.
- What's new appears after updating to a pre-release.
- The launcher always uses Phaethon's server, and the Server setting is gone.
- The changelog is wider and shows each change as a short summary.
- The changelog describes each change in one short sentence.
- An import error message uses American spelling.
- A game build that fails while compiling now says so plainly.
- The Home page shows what you are playing while a game runs, and the library waits for it to end.
- Setup is Phaethon's: where it lives, your preferences, your account.
- Discord presence can be turned off in Settings.

Launcher¶
- Discord shows what you are doing in the launcher and in the game.
- A runtime update rebuilds only the games it changes.
- Two disc import errors now say what to do.
- Runtime downloads are recorded in the launcher log.
- The changelog has a tab for the launcher and one for the runtime.
- The Runtime updated toast opens what changed.
- The What's new card lists each change on one line.
Install¶
- A setup wizard installs the launcher.
- Setup says whether it installs, updates, reinstalls or downgrades.
- Setup and uninstall wait until the launcher is closed.
- Apps and Features lists the launcher once, and uninstalling asks what else to remove.
- Setup and its uninstaller are signed whenever the launcher is.
Delivery¶
- A busy server makes a runtime download wait and try again instead of failing.
- The setup wizard can be downloaded from Phaethon's server.

- The Game page shows what you are doing while a game runs.
- Each game keeps its play time and a summary of its last session.
- Discord support for games and downloads is in place, switched on in rc4.
- When a game closes, a toast says how long you played and where you stopped.

Launcher¶
- The first release of the Jak launcher.
- It runs beside the launcher it came from without sharing settings or logins.
- It reaches no server until one is set.
- A failed update check says so.
- Its window, About panel, crash dialog and Discord status read Jak Launcher.
- It has a placeholder icon and logo.
Phaethon is a hard fork of OpenGOAL's jak-project. Naughty Dog made the games; you need your own copy of each.
